Celebrating 20 Years of Empowerment!

Since  2005, our nonprofit organization has grown more than we ever could have imagined. What started as a halfway house with just one employee soon grew into a comprehensive treatment program with a dedicated team of 15 professionals, committed to supporting women in their recovery journeys. With the completion of the Marvel Way Complex’s sober living apartment, we’ve added 88 1- and 2-bedroom affordable housing units to our offerings.

What’s next, you might ask? At The Empowerment Center, we’re excited to be breaking ground on TEC2 –  a bigger, better, newer treatment center. With TEC2, we’ll expand our capacity from 36 to 119 beds, giving us the space we’ll need to continue to improve our programming. We’ll have room to better tailor our programming to meet the needs of every individual who walks through our doors, offer non-medical detox, and have separate facilities available to treat not only women, but men as well.

Our anniversary celebration will include dinner, games, a silent auction, a tasty selection of signature cocktails and mocktails, and a fabulous evening spent with us. All proceeds will benefit the construction of our new treatment center. Together, we can build a future when every woman, man, and family has the opportunity to focus on recovery, gain independence, and prepare to thrive in our community.
